Abstract
The purpose. To develop the most general theory of interaction of elastic cleaning blade with the head of root crops of sugar beet at its cleaning from remnants of haulm when the blade is on power-driven horizontal shaft. Methods. Simulation, higher mathematics and theoretical mechanics, in particular theorems of change of kinetic energy of mechanical system and of change of a moment of momentum of mechanical system, the theory of stroke, formulation and the solution in close sort of differential equations of movement, and also creation of programs and carrying out of numerical calculations using PC. Results. The equivalent scheme is developed and the new differential equation of movement of elastic cleaning blade on the surface of head of root crops of sugar beet which is fixed on power-driven horizontal shaft is worked out. New final expressions for determination of angle of rotation and angular velocity of rotary motion of elastic cleaning blade are gained at different values of its geometrical sizes and shapes: rectangular parallelepiped and straight circular cylinder. Conclusions. Rational kinematic and design parameters are specified of cleaner of heads of root crops of sugar beet which ensure high quality of cleaning heads from remnants of haulm and non beating out roots from soil.Key words: sugar beet, haulm, cleaning blade, theory, equivalent scheme, force, stroke, differential equations, parameters.
