Abstract
The purpose. To update diagnostic means and methods of specific prophylaxis of Teshen disease according to recommendations of International epizootic bureau. Methods. Reference and production strains of Tesho-virus of pigs are used. Accumulation of viruses was carried out in re-vaccinating cultures of kidney cells of an embryo of pig and newborn Syrian hamster. In experiments they used virus neutralization reaction, immunofluorescence, immunoassay, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, polymerase chain reaction with reverse transcription. Results. Sets of diagnosticums of Teshen diseases and inactivated vaccine against it with the characteristics which considerably exceeding domestic and foreign analogues are created on the basis of new domestic strain Teschovirus A «Dneprovskii-34». Conclusions. Diagnostic means and methods of specific prophylaxis of Teshen disease are updated.
