Короткий огляд
Мета. Аналіз сучасного стану досліджень геному кукурудзи, зокрема структурної організації ядерної ДНК та внутрішньовидового поліморфізму геному, зумовленого появою транспозонів, інделів, мікросателітів, однонуклеотидних замін. Висновки. Високий ступінь вивченості структурної організації геному кукурудзи дає змогу ідентифікувати молекулярні маркери для оцінки поліморфізму селекційних зразків, здійснювати пошук функціональних маркерів цінних господарських ознак і використовувати їх у програмах маркер-асоційованої селекції.Ключові слова: геном, гени, транспозони, геномний поліморфізм, мікросателіти, SNP, кукурудза.
