Короткий огляд
Наведено порівняльну характеристику поживних властивостей «забутого основного хліба багатьох народів світу — ячменю» і сьогоднішнього хліба насущного — пшениці. Перевага ячменю над пшеницею безсумнівна як продукту харчування, запобіжного засобу проти серцево-судинних і ракових захворювань і як запобіжно-лікувального засобу проти цукрового діабету, алергічних захворювань тощо. Особлива увага приділяється сортам голозерного ячменю, що мають ще більші поживні і лікувальні властивості. Наведено характеристику нових сортів голозерного ячменю селекції СГІ — НЦНС.
