The effect of the herbicide Granstar Pro, 75 v. g. under in vitro conditions for the germination of white orache seeds (Chenopodium album L.)

Abstract
Goal. To study the effect of the herbicide Granstar Pro, 75 v. g. on the seeds of white orache (Chenopodium album L.) during its germination and to identify its herbistatic properties as a possible factor that expands the features of the drug to ensure the targeted and rational use of herbicides, sulfonylurea derivatives, in wheat and barley crops with maximum yield preservation and minimal impact on the environment. Methods. Laboratory, visual, calculation-comparative, mathematical-statistical. Results. It was established that the use of the herbicide Granstar Pro, 75 v. g. with consumption rates of 15 g/ha; 20, and 25 g/ha under in vitro conditions inhibited the germination of white orache seeds. The average level of reduction in the germination of white orache seeds in all repetitions of the experiment of the variant in Petri dishes on filter paper, where the herbicide Granstar Pro, 75 v. g. was used with a consumption rate of 15 g/ha, compared to the control was 62.5%. The average level of reduction of the germination of white orache seeds in the soil was the highest in the 4th variant of the experiment, where the herbicide Granstar Pro, 75 v. g. was used with a consumption rate of 25 g/ha — 73.1%. On the 30th day of recording on filter paper and in the soil in Petri dishes in all repetitions of the 2nd-4th variants of the experiment, where the herbicide Granstar Pro, 75 v.g. was used with consumption rates of 15 g/ha; 20 and 25 g/ha, respectively, the absence of germinated seeds of white orache was recorded. Conclusions. As a result of the use of the herbicide Granstar Pro, 75 v. g. with consumption rates of 15 g/ha, 20, and 25 g/ha under in vitro conditions in Petri dishes on filter paper and in the soil, a decrease in the germination rate of white orache seeds was noted. At the same time, herbistatic properties were better manifested in experiments in vitro on filter paper due to direct contact of the herbicide with the object of research, which ensured 100% control of the germination of white orache seeds in variants with the use of the herbicide Granstar Pro, 75 v. g. with consumption rates of 20 and 25 g/ha. The leading fact of in vitro research was the establishment of a clear tendency to decrease the germination of white orache seeds in the soil, which could be traced on the 10th day after treatment with a herbicide, which gave reason to note the effect of the drug Granstar Pro, 75 v. g. with consumption rates of 15, 20 and 25 g/ha for seed germination.
